   Cultural vibrations: final reflection

My cultural vibrations report will provide in information I have

discovered about my musical instrument the report will give interesting

information about the design, the comparison to other instruments and the tradition important to my creation.

Picture a bucket found in a house, becoming a hand made

cultural artifact that is also a working musical instrument. First of all, it is a cultural artifact because it was hand made and it has all the symbols about my culture on it like the I Phone Four. Furthermore, it is a musical instrument because you can play it and it makes sounds.  Also you can use it to keep a beat when your group is playing their rhythms.

Both instruments are alike even though they don’t look the same? They are similar because they both have a low pitch sound. In addition, they both have things about their culture on them. Also they are both hand made by a person. Finally keep the beat by hitting it with your hand or a stick. They are different size and shape. For example the African instrument has a face and mine doesn’t. Furthermore the African instrument is older and it’s rusty. Next it’s made out of iron, wood, and pigment also copper alloy and my instrument is just made out of plastic duct tape and paper.

If you look clear you will see my drum has all things represent my culture. my group and I can play at  school event such as arts literary night or at a book fair. The important thing about my culture or tradition is that it has taught me about the 21st Century Pop Culture.  The clothing century is comfortable, has bright colors; Examples of 21st century clothing are a t-shirt, slim jeans and shoes.

In conclusion, this cultural vibrations report has taught me how my instrument is a cultural artifact also a fashioning musical instrument

i put this pic because this show is awsome :)
